Newcastle United are looking at four attacking players including Divock Origi and Todd Cantwell. That’s according to a new report from The Telegraph.

The Magpies are working away trying to bring in players who will help to keep the club in the Premier League.

Newcastle’s status as a top-flight club is under serious threat right now.

It is paramount for recruitment officials to get things right this month with the new money.

Apparently, Newcastle are looking to bring in some extra fire power, with Liverpool star Origi an option. The Belgian can apparently leave Anfield for just £7 million this month.

Cantwell of Norwich is of interest to come in and play as a number 10.

In addition to those two, Newcastle are said to be considering English strikers Eddie Nketiah and Dominic Solanke.

A striker is absolutely essential now following a new injury setback for Callum Wilson.

A report from the Daily Mail last night claimed he is set to be out for around six weeks with an Achilles problem.

Origi has long been linked with a move away from Liverpool.

He has been with the club since 2014. But he has generally always been behind the likes of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino in the pecking order.

Divock Origi would be a good addition for Newcastle

Origi would potentially be a good addition by Newcastle.

The star has five goals in 10 appearances so far this season. He made headlines recently for scoring a last-minute winner against Wolves.

Origi has shown himself to be something of a big game player over the years.

Newcastle will have many big games between now and the end of the season. And Origi might just rise to the occasion.
