Newcastle United need to bolster their backline.
The Magpies saw a dip in quality and consistency last term, and it is time to freshen things up.
There have been a few interesting transfer links so far.

Tosin Adarabioyo is supposedly on the club’s radar, and William Saliba has been linked too.
But if Newcastle can cast their net further afield, they may come across a player worth pursuing – and someone they’ve actually tracked before.
Nikola Milenkovic is reportedly set to leave Fiorentina this summer, with journalist Paolo Bargiggia claiming he’s available for just £8.6 million.

Milenkovic has been linked with Newcastle before.
Vesti Sport reported in 2016 that the club were keeping tabs on the player.
A move would not materialise, and Milenkovic would go on to establish himself as one of Serie A’s top central defenders.
Since he transferred to Fiorentina, he has often been linked with a move to the Premier League.

But he’s remained with La Viola, clocking up 133 appearances so far.
This £8.6million valuation likely comes as a result of the player only having a year remaining on his contract.
Quite frankly, that would make Serbia international Milenkovic a bargain for anyone.
Newcastle should reignite previous interest
Milenkovic would make a world of difference to Newcastle’s backline.
The 6ft 5in centre-half is a fearsome individual, who has previously drawn comparisons with fellow countryman Nemanja Vidic.

Bargain-hunting is the name of game this summer for the club, with funds said to be tight.
If Milenkovic, 23, really is only valued at £8.6 million, Newcastle just have to get involved.
He’s obviously fantastic in the air, good with the ball at his feet, and hardly ever misses games through injury.
