Newcastle United watched Goncalo Inacio last weekend according to A Bola.
The club are supposedly contemplating making a move for the Sporting CP player at the end of the season.

The reigning Portuguese champions were in action against Tondela, and ran out 3-1 winners in the Viseu District.
Inacio started, and played 72 minutes in the game.
In the time he was on the pitch, he completed an impressive 93/98 (95%) passes.
In truth, it was a relatively comfortable day at the office for the Portugal U21 international, who is said to be on the verge of stepping up to Fernando Santos’ senior squad.
A Bola’s report actually mentions that Newcastle did lodge a bid for Inacio back in January.
Supposedly, that bid was worth around €30 million/£25 million.
That was not enough to convince Sporting to sell their young talent, and Newcastle ended January with just the one new centre-back signing in Dan Burn.
Goncalo Inacio would be an exciting addition for the long-term by Newcastle
Inacio is a young defender with a really bright future ahead of him.
He’s already a regular in the Sporting staring XI, and has already acquired the nickname ‘the boss’.

Newcastle obviously landed the left-footed Burn in January. But there is room for another left-footer in the squad, especially one that is much younger.
Clearly Newcastle are quite keen on him. Hopefully, they are able to prise him away from Sporting this summer with their second attempt.
