Newcastle United are reportedly in the mix to sign Lille midfielder Renato Sanches this summer.
Tuttojuve have claimed the Magpies are one of several sides taking a look at the Portugal international, who will only have a year left to run on his contract at the end of the season.

Sanches has really turned his career around in the last couple of years.
The star had that disastrous loan spell with Swansea City, and he threatened to become a player who would fade away after huge early hype.
But Sanches has managed to get back on track at Lille, helping the club to win Ligue 1 last season.
The 24-year-old then caught the eye at Euro 2020 with Portugal, and is now on the radars of some top clubs.
Apparently, Juventus, AC Milan, Arsenal and Liverpool are all showing interest.
Newcastle are also said to be keen, and it will be interesting to see if the Magpies decide to make a move. Of course, Newcastle have also been strongly linked with a move for Sanches teammate Sven Botman.

Of course at the moment, Eddie Howe’s midfield is in a brilliant moment. Jonjo Shelvey, Joe Willock and Joelinton are all in tremendous form. They have been so good that Bruno Guimaraes hasn’t yet started a game for his new club.
But Newcastle are likely to splash the cash this summer despite that.
There is potential for the likes of Sean Longstaff and Miguel Almiron to move on. That would create space for someone like Sanches.
Renato Sanches would be a statement of intent by Newcastle
This is an exciting claim indeed.
Sanches has definitely matured since his last spell in English football. It would be a serious statement of intent by Newcastle if the club were to get him.

The idea of a Bruno-Joelinton-Sanches midfield three, with Shelvey and Willock to rotate is dreamlike.
There will likely be a lot of clamour over him this summer given the situation with his contract.
A strong finish to the season by Newcastle might just catch the player’s eye though.
