Newcastle United are part of the growing list of clubs that are scouting Evan Ferguson ahead of the summer transfer window.
Brighton striker Ferguson is enjoying a breakthrough season at the age of 18-years-old, and is attracting interest from multiple Premier League teams, as well as major clubs in Europe.
90min have reported that Barcelona and Bayern Munich recently cast their eye over the Irish forward, who could also have the option to stay in the Premier League.
The report states that Chelsea and Liverpool have scouted Ferguson – as have Newcastle.

The Magpies have been keeping tabs on Ferguson for a while, but it looks like he is going nowhere.
90min report that the teenager is in no rush to leave Brighton, and is expected to sign a new and improved deal to keep him at the Amex Stadium.
They state that he is very happy with the Seagulls, and it is easy to see why. He is getting an incredible opportunity at such a young age, and his goals are helping Brighton compete on multiple fronts.
Roberto Di Zerbi’s side are seventh in the Premier League, and are preparing for an FA Cup semi final clash with Manchester United next month.

Teenager is earning major praise from around the world
He is also getting a chance on the international stage, having made his Republic of Ireland debut back in November. Ferguson has now won three caps, and scored his first goal for his country in a friendly win over Latvia last week.
He will be hoping to feature against France in a Euro 2024 qualifier on Monday night, which would see him come up against newly-appointed captain Kylian Mbappe – who has spoke highly of the young striker.
Mbappe spoke to the Irish Independent in the buildup to the game, and described Ferguson as a ‘good player‘.
From one striking great to another, Glenn Murray has also heaped praise on Ferguson. He admitted that the youngster is ‘exceptional‘.
That is why clubs like Newcastle are watching him closely, but it sounds like a move away from the Amex is not on the immediate horizon.
