Bayern Munich defender Niklas Sule will leave the club as a free agent this summer – and the Newcastle United-linked player has apparently decided which club he’ll join.
The 37-cap Germany international is to bring his five-year spell in Bavaria to an end.

The giants had hoped to get him signed up to a new deal.
But the 26-year-old is set for pastures new, and apparently he already knows where he’ll be playing his football next season.
Volker Struth, the player’s agent, said (quoted by 90min): “The new club has already been decided. Niklas has made a decision and I would be surprised if he changed his mind.”
Those comments are perhaps ominous.
Newcastle were actually linked with the player in the lead up to the January transfer window.
But any Magpies fans hoping Sule has chosen Newcastle may be disappointed, with Struth actually name-dropping the club and effectively ruling out a move.

He said: “I think I would have a problem if we were to announce in a few days that the player would move to Newcastle and I’m sitting here explaining that the money isn’t the priority.”
Sule looks highly unlikely to be joining Newcastle, but there is a chance he could still end up in the Premier League.
The former Hoffenheim colossus has also been linked with Chelsea.
The Blues could be losing Antonio Rudiger as a free agent at the end of the season.
A shame for Newcastle as agent seemingly rules out Niklas Sule swoop
So it looks as though Sule has agreed to join another club.
That is a shame to hear, as he could have made for a brilliant addition for Newcastle – especially on a free.
But it is understandable that he won’t join.

Newcastle are obviously threatened by relegation right now. There is a chance the club could be playing in the Championship next season.
Sule clearly wants things in place for his next chapter. It was probably always going to be unlikely that he would head to St. James’ Park.
