Newcastle United full-back DeAndre Yedlin has reportedly emerged as a target for Turkish outfit Trabzonspor.
According to The Chronicle, the Super Lig side are keen to land the 27-year-old on a free transfer, with his contract at St. James’ expiring next summer.

Although he is currently in the starting XI, it is thought Yedlin’s days as a Newcastle player are numbered.
Yedlin has been an interesting case since coming to the club back in 2016.
The star has never really reached the level some hoped in the beginning.
Blessed with amazing pace, Yedlin had the potential to become a big success in the Premier League, but arguably it’s been the defensive side of his game that has let him down.
The club are being linked with a possible January loan swoop for Manchester United youngster Brandon Williams, and if Steve Bruce is indeed interested then that would surely be curtains for Yedlin, with the 20-year-old also able to play at right-back.

Yedlin needs retaining until season’s end
Realistically, it’s been a fairly underwhelming four years at St. James’ for Yedlin.
But ironically, he is perhaps the best full-back option Newcastle have at this moment in time.
Newcastle need to try and keep hold of the £30,000-a-week USA international (Spotrac) until the end of the season, especially given the hectic nature of 2020/21.
