Newcastle United fans have been reacting to a claim from Italy that Valentino Lazaro would gladly return to St. James’ Park.
Gazzetta dello Sport have reported the Austria international would be keen for a second spell with the Magpies.

Lazaro, of course, spent the second half of 2019/20 on loan at Newcastle.
The star’s future at Inter Milan is currently in doubt.
While he has three years remaining on his contract, the Nerazzurri have loaned him out two times now, and seem to be ready to offload him.
He’s featured just 11 times for their first-team since transferring in 2019.

Gazzetta believe Lazaro would want to come back to the Toon.
That’s despite him not really pulling up trees during his last spell.
He did show glimpses of his quality. But Steve Bruce only handed him four Premier League starts.
It remaisn to be seen if the club will move again for the 25-year-old.
His versatility would potentially make him come in quite handy.

But whether Bruce would have him back is another thing.
