Some Newcastle United fans have been reacting a claim that the Magpies have offered Aaron Ramsey a £150,000-a-week contract.
The Juventus midfielder is currently out of favour at the Turin giants.

The Wales international has made just five appearances this season. His last game was a six-minute cameo against Zenit Saint Petersburg in the Champions League on October 20.
His last league appearance came all the way back in September on the 26th against Sampdoria.
It has not been a fruitful spell in Italy for Ramsey since his high profile free transfer back in 2019.
He has scored just six goals in 70 games for the club, which is a very disappointing return for someone who scored and assisted pretty regularly from midfield for Arsenal.
His spell has been hampered by injuries as well, and overall it has been an underwhelming time for the 31-year-old.
Ian McGarry claimed last week on the Transfer Window podcast (via Express) that Newcastle are keen on Ramsey and have offered him a £150,000-a-week contract.
This information is also offered by journalist Duncan Castles.
Newcastle fans react to Aaron Ramsey’s £150,000-a-week contract offer
On social media, some Newcastle fans have been reacting to the claim that the club have out a £150,000-a-week three-year contract to Ramsey.
It would seem that despite Ramsey’s frustrations over the past couple of years, quite a few would take him next month.

Considering Ramsey reportedly signed a £400,000-a-week contract at Juventus upon joining, Newcastle getting him in on less than half that amount per week would be impressive.
Some Toon fans like the idea of him in midfield alongside the likes of Jonjo Shelvey and new box-to-box star Joelinton:
