Newcastle United fans have been reacting to a report that has claimed Watford are looking to sign Matty Longstaff on loan from Newcastle United.
The Watford Observer say the Championship side are hopeful of landing the 20-year-old for the remainder of the 2020/21 season.

The younger Longstaff brother has struggled for minutes at St. James’ Park so far this season.
He’s made just five Premier League appearances, and hasn’t got off the bench in any of the previous three outings.
Steve Bruce has several options available to him in midfield, including Sean Longstaff, Isaac Hayden, Jeff Hendrick, Jonjo Shelvey and Migeul Almiron.
It is a shame for Longstaff, who burst onto the scene in 2019.
Many felt as though he would be able to kick on after his brilliant goal on his Premier League debut against Manchester United. But it hasn’t quite happened for him.

On social media, fans appear to be somewhat divided about what should happen with the talented youngster.
Some believe he should be permitted a deadline day loan move given his struggle for minutes, with others of the belief that he still has something to offer for the starting XI:
