Newcastle United have an eye on one of Scotland’s most promising attacking talents and could make a move this summer.
Ryan One who plays for Hamilton Academical has attracted interest from several clubs including Newcastle.
Brighton have already failed with a couple of attempts so land the 17-year-old forward according to TEAMTalk who also claim that Burnley, Liverpool, Rangers and Celtic also have One in their sights.
Newcastle have Ryan One in their sights as one for the future
Newcastle appear to be far from done in the transfer market this summer, looking for a couple of first-team additions but also almost always keen to add young talent for the future.
The youngster made 28 appearances for the Accies in all competitions last season and has already appeared four times in the Scottish League Cup. He managed to bag two goals last season playing in different positions across the Hamilton front line.

Brighton having made two bids should be the biggest sign that this kid has a good future ahead of him given how excellent their scouting network is. No matter how high profile a player is that Brighton may sell, they always seem to have a replacement already waiting in the wings who turns out to be just as good.
Hamilton clearly don’t want to let One leave but may have to brace for a bidding war
Newcastle are building a similar system with Dan Ashworth, the man responsible for Brighton’s network, working hard to replicate what he did for the Seagulls.

It would make sense if Newcastle and Brighton find themselves fighting over hot prospects like Ryan One many times in the future.
Hamilton Academical seem very keen to hold on to One for as long as they can after rejecting two bids from Brighton, but if all of the aforementioned interested parties start a bidding war they may find themselves losing that battle.
