Newcastle United have been linked with a move for Matthias Ginter.
Last night the Daily Mail released an intriguing article about the transfer state of play at the club.
The new owners are set to enlist the help of a recruitment firm, London-based sports experts Nolan Partners.

And Amanda Staveley will appoint a short-term football recruitment advisor.
The report has also claimed that Eddie Howe has presented a list of targets, including Lloyd Kelly, Joe Rodon, Sven Botman and Mohamed Elneny.
Borussia Monchengladbach star Ginter has also ‘been mentioned’.
Ginter, 27, has been with his current club since 2017 when he joined from Borussia Dortmund.
He has racked up 162 appearances for the club so far.
Ginter is having a tricky season at the moment, with Gladbach languishing in 13th place in the Bundesliga table.

They lost 6-0 at the weekend, and the team have conceded 24 goals in total. 10 of those have come in the last two matches.
But Ginter remains a key player for Gladbach, and ahead of the 2021/22 season, German legend Lothar Matthaus sung his praises, comparing him to Sergio Ramos.
He told Sport Bild (via bundesliga.com): “Ginter has become a leader at the back, in a similar way to Ramos at Real. He doesn’t just give instructions to his teammates, but leads them as well. That’s what Ginter is doing really well at the moment. He reminds me of Ramos.”
The Bundesliga’s feature talks up Ginter’s aerial prowess, distribution and threat from set-pieces as reasons he is a bit like Ramos.
Matthias Ginter would improve Newcastle’s defence, amid reports of transfer interest
While there are much better players out there, Ginter would go some way to improving Newcastle’s leaky defence.

The star has lots of experience at the age of 27, and has earned 46 caps with the German national team.
If Newcastle can get him and Botman in next month, the picture will be looking much better.
Selling the project could be difficult at this stage, but Ginter may well wish to change clubs before reaching the end of his contract next summer.
