Newcastle United will reportedly struggle to complete a deal for Lloyd Kelly in the current transfer window.
That’s according to Daily Mail journalist Craig Hope, who has provided some information on Twitter this evening.

The same outlet reported last month that Eddie Howe had his former player on his list of targets heading into January.
There was then a claim that West Ham United were keen on the player.
But, at this stage, it doesn’t look like Kelly will be on the move, with Bournemouth not after losing key players in their bid for promotion.
Hope said on Twitter: “On NUFC & Lloyd Kelly, Bournemouth don’t want to sell while going for promotion.
“Eddie Howe likes the defender but sounds like it could be a difficult deal to do this month.”
At the moment, the Cherries are sitting pretty at the top of the Championship table.
They are three points clear, and look like they will be there or there abouts at the end of the season.
It is no real surprise that they don’t want to lose Kelly, a man who has appeared in 20 of Bournemouth’s 25 league games so far.
Newcastle should probably abandon Lloyd Kelly pursuit for now
Newcastle could easily throw huge money at Bournemouth to try and sign Kelly.
But the fact Bournemouth do not want to sell is understandable.

There is potential for time to be wasted trying to prise him away. So Newcastle are probably better served looking at other options.
Maybe Newcastle can return for Kelly – whom Howe previously dubbed ‘an outstanding player’ – in a future window.
