Newcastle United want to send Matty Longstaff out on loan for the 2021/22 season.
The Magpies are hopeful of finding the right club for the 21-year-old, who saw very little game time last term.

Steve Bruce handed him just five Premier League appearances, as the team fought against relegation.
In the end it was a comfortable finish, with Joe Willock contributing hugely to the safety mission.
Through no fault of his own, Longstaff really stalled last season.
Hopefully he manages to get out somewhere this term.
According to journalist Alan Nixon, Newcastle are seeing which club makes the best cash offer towards the player’s wages.
He states that Sheffield United, Blackburn Rovers and Huddersfield Town are among the teams interested.
The move needs to be right for Longstaff, not just Newcastle
Newcastle need to be making their decision of where to loan Longstaff based on his interests.
He is a brilliant young player, and needs to go to a club where he’s going to get regular minutes. Especially since he featured so little last season.

It is hardly surprising to hear Newcastle want to save as much as possible on paying his wages.
But that should not dictate the situation – the interests of the player and his development are paramount.
