Most people want to see Jetro Willems become a permanent Newcastle United player.
The Dutchman has been sensational since arriving, scoring stunners against Liverpool and Manchester City. He’s strong in possession, forming a brilliant partnership with Allan Saint-Maximin down the left.

Willems is perfect for Steve Bruce’s system, but just how long will he be a Magpie? He’s currently only on loan, but a permanent deal is on the table if Newcastle want it. And more importantly, Willems is keen to stay.
It had been reported that he’ll cost £10 million, but the Chronicle claim it will actually be more than that. They believe the fee will be ‘north of the £10 million fee mentioned’, but do not know the specific amount.
The Chronicle also report that the deal is not a priority for Newcastle right now – but maybe it should be.

The option to make the deal permanent reportedly becomes active in April, although fans will want it done sooner rather than later. If he continues to impress, other teams might become interested and steal him from under our noses.
While the fee is now reportedly set to be more than £10 million, anything below £15 million is still a bargain for a player of his ability. Sign him up.
