Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has spoken about his plans for new Toon arrival Garang Kuol.
Taking to a post-Leeds press conference ahead of the Magpies’ trip to Arsenal tomorrow, the Tyneside boss revealed that although the 18-year-old may be given the chance to train with the first-team, the intention remains to send him out on loan.

“It’s a possibility Garang could train with us for a little while,” said Howe.
“But I do think that for the player’s development, he needs to go and play.
“If possible, that would be at a very good level, with a good club and a good coach.
“That’s not a decision that’s been made currently, so we’ll have to assess what all of our options are.”
Kuol set for loan move
Despite only signing his first professional contract with A-League side Central Coast Mariners in June, Newcastle confirmed they had signed the youngster just three months later – reportedly for an initial £300,000.
Having cameoed at the World Cup with Australia, the attacker has now officially been unveiled as a Magpies player.
According to a report by The Telegraph, the Tyneside outfit are debating whether or not to send Kuol out on loan to the Championship for the remainder of the season.
This would be dependent on a work permit, but The Athletic claim his Socceroos campaign out in Qatar would make obtaining one much more likely.

This move would allow the teenager to get accustomed to the physicality of English football, before being thrown in the deep end in the Premier League.
Regular action week-in, week-out would allow Kuol to get up to speed, paving the way for rapid development and a surge in confidence.
