Newcastle United incomings
There have not been any deals completed by Newcastle United yet this month. At the end of 2025, Eddie Howe suggested the club will be patient and not rush into any transfers while players are returning from injuries, so we could be waiting a while for concrete news.
Newcastle United outgoings
We knew it was coming for a while, but Antonio Cordero has joined Cadiz on loan after his spell with Belgian outfit Westerlo was cut short.
The Spaniard struggled to get minutes there and Newcastle made the decision to change things up for the second half of the campaign.

Latest Newcastle United transfer rumours
There are a number of deals Newcastle could complete this month that we are keeping an eye on. In particular, a whole host of midfielders have been linked with Newcastle over the past couple of months and surely one of them will end up joining the club in January.
Kees Smit is the big name mentioned most often, but the likes of Elliot Anderson, Ederson, Conor Gallagher, Scott McTominay, and Jorge Carrascal have also been mooted.
Meanwhile, Newcastle need defensive reinforcements. Nathan Ake is the latest to be linked, with a loan move for the Man City ace potentially in the works. Young Frenchman Dayann Methalie has also been scouted and the versatile defender could be the subject of a Newcastle bid soon.
In terms of outgoings, Will Osula seems destined to join Frankfurt in Germany. There’s also talk of a £50m move for Joelinton with interest from Saudi Arabia in the midfielder.
