Allan Saint-Maximin is closing in on a move away from Newcastle United, but he is not the only forward who is set to depart St James’ Park.

While Saint-Maximin is on course to sign for Al Ahli permanently, Toon teenager Garang Kuol is about to go out on loan once again.

The 18-year-old has not been seen during pre-season, which has led to some confusion from Toon supporters.

He was on loan at Hearts last season and struggled for minutes, but he is still a player who the club have high hopes for. However, he has been conspicuous by his absence this summer, with the Aussie not training with the senior side or the youngsters.

Now the Chronicle have provided an update on Kuol’s situation, and explained why he is not with Eddie Howe’s side in America.

Newcastle set to loan out Garang Kuol again

According to the Chronicle, Kuol is set to go out on loan for the second time in his Toon career. The report states that paperwork is now being finalised ahead of his next move away.

It remains unclear where he is going, but hopefully it is somewhere where he will play more than he did for Hearts. While Kuol enjoyed his spell in Scotland, he did not play a lot of football.

That needs to change during his second loan spell away from Tyneside, and it is going to be interesting to see where Dan Ashworth has decided to send him.

Hopefully it will be to an English club, as he continues to adapt to life on the other side of the world. Joining a domestic side will allow Newcastle officials to closely follow his development, whilst ensuring he is becoming more ready to have a role in black and white.

All shall be revealed soon, with Kuol seemingly closing in on another move away ahead of what will hopefully be an exciting season for the teenage sensation.
