The 2023 January transfer window has now closed, meaning Newcastle United can no longer buy and sell players.

Last year’s January window was a chaotic one, with the new owners looking to make a splash and provide Eddie Howe with the players he needed to boost the Magpies’ survival bid.

That investment paid off, and Newcastle are a lot better placed in January 2023.

The 2023 January transfer window was a bit quieter for Newcastle, although Sporting Director Dan Ashworth was still be busy with both incomings and outgoings.
