Allan Saint-Maximin is pretty much the only thing that excites Newcastle fans these days. And he might be a Wolves player in the near future.

According to the Daily Mail, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have identified the Frenchman as a possible replacement for Adama Traore.

Traore has enjoyed the best season of his career, which has led to speculation about a move away. The Mail report that he’s valued at £70million, with Real Madrid and Barcelona keen.

And Saint-Maximin is a player who is equally as exciting. Traore is powerful whereas Saint-Maximin is skilful. Either way, they can both run past players with ease.

The one area where Traore trumps the Newcastle hero is end product, having added a plethora of goals and assists to his game this season. He currently has four goals and seven assists.

Losing Saint-Maximin would be a desperate state of affairs, as he’s truly the only exciting thing about the club right now. He’s the one player you want to see in possession. He’s the one player you believe can do something in the final third.

Wolves fans clearly agree, as they seem to be very keen on the prospect of Saint-Maximin taking Traore’s place next season.
