If Newcastle United want to win the FA Cup, they’re going to have to do it the hard way.

The quarter final draw took place last night, with the Magpies set to play holders Manchester City.

It was the toughest draw possible, but the only saving grace is that it’ll be at St James’ Park.

The atmosphere should be electric and give the players a real boost. But still, beating Manchester City will be easier said than done.

Pep Guardiola’s men advanced to the next round with a 1-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday last night. Like Newcastle, they haven’t played a single Premier League team on route to the quarters.

The away side will obviously be the favourites, but not every Manchester City fan is confident.

In fact, City have actually struggled at St James’ Park in recent years. In the past two games, Newcastle have came from behind to win and draw.

The Magpies have been something of a bogey team for City on their travels, so let’s pray they struggle in the north east once again.
