Of all the players linked with Newcastle this month, Ademola Lookman sounds the most probable.

On Tuesday night reports emerged that the Magpies were interested in a loan move for the winger, with Sky Sports claiming that he wants to leave RB Leipzig.

Lookman has struggled to make an impact since his permanent move to the Bundesliga, despite impressing previously during a loan spell.

He’s made just four appearances this season, which is why he wants to leave Leipzig. So would he be a good fit at St James’ Park?

A lot of fans certainly think so, as they believe it could lead to a change in system. Before Allan Saint-Maximin’s injury, the Frenchman was playing on the left, with Miguel Almiron operating on the right.

The £21 million man has never looked comfortable out there, only showing signs of life when he drifted over to the opposite flank.

But some Toon fans think Lookman’s arrival could allow Almiron to play more centrally, a role he thrived in at Atlanta United.

Could potential Lookman arrival lead to a change in shape?
