The youngster hasn’t been involved at all for Newcastle this season, but recently appeared on the bench as the Magpies beat Burnley.
This would suggest that he is third choice behind Martin Dubravka and Karl Darlow.

The former Premier League regulars are battling for promotion once again, looking like possible title candidates.
In between the sticks has been Bailey Peacock-Farrell, who is only young himself. The 22-year-old emerged as Leeds’ number one last season, and has kept his place under Bielsa.
So with Leeds currently nurturing their own young goalkeeper, could that impact Woodman’s decision?
If he were to go to Leeds, there is no guarantee he’d be number one. Why would Leeds select Woodman over Peacock-Farrell and thus hinder the development of their own player?
He would improve under Bielsa
While he might not start, Woodman would certainly improve under Bielsa.
The Argentinian is one of the most respected coaches in world football. If you ask Mauricio Pochettino or Pep Guardiola about the current Leeds boss, they’ll only say positive things.
Bielsa has a passing style of football, and that starts with the goalkeeper. Working at Elland Road would surely improve Woodman’s footwork, as it is a skill that Bielsa demands from his players.
Wherever the 21-year-old goes, it needs to be somewhere that he will improve. He might not play, but Woodman could learn a lot at Leeds.
