It is coming up to a year now since Newcastle United sold DeAndre Yedlin.
The Magpies decided to cash in on the USA international, since he was going to become a free agent in the summer of 2021.
That decision was made despite the fact that Yedlin wanted to extend his contract with the club. The star actually publicly hit out at Newcastle for the lack of progression.
Ultimately he left to join Turkish giants Galatasaray. And he almost won silverware straight away with his new club.
Gala went into the final round of Super Lig fixtures with the potential to be champions, with Besiktas and Fenerbahce also in the mix.
Gala and Besiktas finished level on points, but Besiktas won the league by have having just one point better goal difference.
