Reports emerged today that Martin Dubravka may be on the radar of Paris St Germain, according to German website Kicker, who claim the French champions are considering him as a potential replacement for current keeper Kevin Trapp.
How genuine the report is, considering it came from a report in Germany, remains to be seen, but with Eintracht Frankfurt hoping to sign the PSG stopper, the article claims a move for Dubravka will give the Bundesliga side renewed hope.
It is somewhat ironic, considering Trapp was alleged to be a reported target for Newcastle before the departure of Rafa Benitez.
The report claims that PSG had not been willing to sell Trapp, but they may have changed their stance with a pursuit of the Newcastle keeper now mooted.
That the report comes from Germany, with a club that have made it known they are not looking to sell their current goalkeeper, makes the link dubious at best.

Dubravka has constantly said he is happy on Tyneside, and despite previous reports claiming he was disappointed at the departure of Benitez (who wouldn’t be?), he is almost certain to be a Newcastle player when we play Arsenal in a few weeks.
Goalkeeper is one of the few areas that we are well stocked, and getting Freddie Woodman to extend his stay would be more of a priority than thinking about replacing Dubravka.
But under Mike Ashley, any big bids for players like Dubravka and Sean Longstaff will have fans worried that he may be tempted to cash in.
