Newcastle United are looking in fantastic shape right now and optimism about securing Premier League safety is high.
The Magpies have enjoyed a brilliant 2022 so far and are unbeaten in their last eight matches.
The club have recently pulled seven points clear of the relegation zone.

There appears to be massive confidence and belief within the team at the moment, and Newcastle have actually been playing some really good stuff.
The turnaround is mostly down to Eddie Howe.
The manager has really had a great impact at St. James’ Park, and has improved lots of individuals in the team.
Not everybody was on board with him becoming Steve Bruce’s replacement. Especially given Newcastle’s awful defensive record.
But he has come in and been a breath of fresh air.
It is difficult to imagine anyone else in the hotseat right now.

And watching Monday Night Football last night really brought it home about how lucky Newcastle are to have Howe.
That’s because Everton were in action against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Toffees are now managed by Frank Lampard, and it’s been a really tough start for him since he replaced Rafa Benitez.
He’s only overseen one Premier League victory so far, losing the other four – the first of which came at the hands of Howe and Newcastle.
Interestingly, Lampard was reportedly ‘very keen’ to replace Bruce at Newcastle (The Times). Looking at the situation now, many Magpies fans will be very relieved he didn’t get the job.
Frank Lampard wanted Newcastle, but he could now take Everton down
Everton are in serious trouble.
Last night’s display against Spurs was truly awful, and Lampard has a serious job on keeping the club in the Premier League. It is a massive test of his credentials.
Had Newcastle’s new owners plumped for Lampard, Newcastle may well have found themselves in the position Everton do now.

The ex-Chelsea midfielder is still relatively inexperienced as a manager.
He has never been in a relegation battle before, and the Toffees have taken a huge risk hiring him.
Howe, of course, had that experience as Bournemouth manager, and is faring very well so far. Of course, there is a lot of football still to be played, but he has given Newcastle a great chance of staying up.
