Newcastle have again been linked with a move for Hull winger Jarrod Bowen, with the Daily Star claiming Steve Bruce wants him on Tyneside, whether in January or the summer.
Bowen has been fantastic for the last 18 months, and his performance at Middlesbrough on Sunday epitomised that, with him virtually single-handedly winning a point for the Tigers.

His side were two goals down to Jonathan Woodgate’s struggling side, with just 20 minutes remaining, but then the young winger-cum-striker had his say.
Bowen bagged two goals in four minutes to change the game, adding further pressure to former Newcastle defender Woodgate, whose Boro’ side sit fourth bottom on 14 points, with just goal difference separating them in 21st, Luton in 22nd and rejuvenated Stoke in 23rd.

While Toon fans may have enjoyed Boro’s latest capitulation, particularly after some of Woodgate’s bizarre Newcastle comments this season, they will certainly have been wowed by Bowen’s performance more.
Bowen could add goals to Bruce’s Newcastle attack
The winger would be an undoubted asset to Bruce’s squad, and would give Newcastle an added threat up front, with them having struggled for goals from the forwards so far this season.

Joelinton has just one goal to his name, while Miguel Almiron has still not scored. Allan Saint-Maximin has not grabbed his first Toon goal yet either, but has transformed our attacking threat since returning to fitness.
Bowen would surely bring goals to the side, and fans were quick to urge their club to sign him in January, with them taking to Twitter to talk about the winger.
