To the shock of no one, Elias Sorensen is back at Newcastle United.
The young striker joined Carlisle United in the summer, looking to make up for lost time after a woeful spell at Blackpool last season.

However, things haven’t got any better despite playing in a lower league. Sorensen didn’t score a single goal for the Cumbrians, which has to be a real cause for concern back at St James’ Park.
The 20-year-old has scored goals for fun for the Newcastle youth sides, but has struggled to make any impression in senior football.
There were some supporters calling for him to get a chance in the first-team, but right now he seems a million miles away from a Premier League appearance.

Newcastle have a big decision to make now. Do they send Sorensen out on another loan in hope that it’s third time lucky, or let him return to form in youth football?
Carlisle United fans have reacted to Sorensen’s departure, and they’re far from upset.
