Newcastle will have to make two changes for the trip to Burnley, with Allan Saint-Maximin and Ciaran Clark picking up injuries last time out.
But whether he comes in for one of those two or another player, Andy Carroll simply has to start at Turf Moor.

If Newcastle are going to get anything at Turf Moor, Carroll has to start the game. He’s had a full week training, and has momentum on his side after an impressive couple of showings.
Whether he directly replaces Joelinton or comes in for Saint-Maximin and forces the number nine out wide, Carroll has to start no matter what.
