Newcastle United have finally sent Isaac Hayden out on loan.
The midfielder failed to secure a Newcastle United exit during the summer, with Isaac Hayden forced to remain on Tyneside.
Jamaica boss Steve McClaren encouraged Hayden to leave on loan in January, and that is exactly what has happened.
The 29-year-old has joined Portsmouth on loan, which means Hayden is playing alongside Matt Ritchie once again.
The move is good news for Hayden, and hopefully he can play well enough to earn a permanent move in the summer.
Newcastle United must send Garang Kuol out on loan

Now Newcastle United must focus on more outgoings, and the next player who must be loaned out is Garang Kuol.
Like Hayden, he also missed out on a temporary exit during the summer. Kuol did not leave due to injury, having started pre-season with the Newcastle United first-team.
Not going out on loan was a major blow for the 20-year-old, whose stock has dropped since arriving at St James’ Park from Central Coast Mariners.
He has made the odd appearance for the Under-21s this season, while Kuol recently trained with the first-team ahead of Newcastle’s Carabao Cup quarter-final against Brentford. However, that was likely just because the Magpies were short of numbers amid their busy schedule.

Garang Kuol’s stock has dropped since Newcastle United transfer
The young Aussie is nowhere near ready to make his senior Toon debut, even if Kuol did feature in the Magpies’ post-season tour of Australia. That was obviously just for commercial reasons.
Kuol needs to go out on loan, and it is concerning that a deal was not already lined up for the January transfer window opening.
The attacker already needs to make up for lost time, having endured two difficult loan spells. His move to Hearts did not go to plan, while his time with Volendam was even worse.
When Dan Ashworth brought him to the club, Kuol was one of the most hyped youngsters in world football. He arrived on the back of appearing at the World Cup.
However, his reputation has taken a battering over the past couple of years, to the point that it is now difficult to see him ever forcing his way into Eddie Howe’s senior side.
For that to change, Kuol needs to go out on loan as soon as possible and thrive in a new environment. It is absolutely essential that Paul Mitchell arranges a move away this month.
