According to the Telegraph, Howe told friends after the Carabao Cup final that winning silverware has only made him hungry for more.

Unsurprisingly, the Toon boss is not going to rest on his laurels. Given how dedicated and relentless he is, no one would expect anything else.

The Telegraph add that Howe described Sunday as the best day of his career.

While a lot of his players are on international duty, the rest of the Newcastle United squad have travelled to Dubai.

During the warm weather training camp, Howe will make it clear what is expected of his players in the remaining games of the season.

Champions League qualification is attainable, and confidence must be sky high after winning the Carabao Cup.

Howe wants more, and he will be determined to follow this trophy with a return to the Champions League.
