Video: What Jason Tindall did walking back into dressing room after Newcastle win last night

No matter how you look at it last night’s win against Manchester City was massive for Newcastle United and it keeps the momentum going after a huge week.

After struggling in the first half, Newcastle turned on the style in the second half and began to make Manchester City look quite average in the Carabao Cup tie.

From back to front every player did what was required of them and the win showed that last season was no fluke.

The Newcastle players and staff mugged for the cameras again

After the game the official NUFC Instagram account posted a clip of the players and staff heading into the dressing room at full time, as they often do following a win.

Right at the start of the video you can see what the win means to the lads as Mad Dog Jason Tindall approaches the camera and gives a double fist pump while shouting “Come on!”.

The rest of the side seemed almost subdued in comparison, perhaps still in shock at what they just achieved. However, the biggest surprise was an uncharacteristic loud ‘whoop’ from none other than Sandro Tonali.

Jacob Murphy supplied the comedy once again

The usually reserved Italian can be heard letting out the cheer as he passes the camera going into the dressing room.

Jacob Murphy provided another comedy moment as he does by letting out a sigh of relief and saying “Oh gosh” as he walks by. At this point I think I’d laugh at Murphy reading the phone book.

I’m sure the celebrations picked up a fair bit when that dressing room door closed behind them. The obligatory squad photo certainly suggests they did.
