Sandro Tonali has arrived for his first day of training at Newcastle United following a short break to recover from international duty,
The Italian international has arrived back on Tyneside and is ready for action as he reports for training.
Newcastle United‘s official Twitter posted a short clip of Sandro Tonali arriving at the Benton training ground where he was greeted by staff.
Tonali is all smiles as he reports for his first day of training
The club will go a long way to dispel the crazy rumours on social media that Tonali isn’t happy about the move as he greets staff at the door with a smile.
Having captained Italy‘s under 21s in the recent U21 Euro Championship, Tonali was granted a few extra days off along with the rest of the squad who had been on international duty.

With the Gateshead game tomorrow, it’s unlikely that he, or indeed any other international will play a part given that they’ve just returned to training today. The exception could be Kieran Trippier who opted to not take up the offer of extended leave.
Tonali could feature against Rangers on Tuesday
Fans could get a glimpse of Tonali in action on Tuesday though, as the Magpies travel north for a friendly against Rangers.

It’s still a bit early, but there’s a chance he could make a cameo as Eddie Howe will want to get his first look at his new signing in action in a match.
With a lot of division amongst the fanbase online today, hopefully seeing Tonali walking into Benton will give people some perspective that things are moving forward.
