Newcastle United defender Tino Livramento believes Lewis Hall’s game intelligence can leave opposition defenders all at sea.
While this Newcastle United side still do not fully convince, there has been a dramatic upturn in performance since Hall and Livramento returned from injury.
The pair have missed a combined total of 15 games this season. Eddie Howe’s side have won only six of them.

The Magpies, meanwhile, are unbeaten in the four Premier League games the pair have started together.
Indeed, Hall and Livramento transform Newcastle United’s style of play. As good as back-ups Dan Burn and Kieran Trippier are as players, they just do not compare with their younger colleagues.
Right now, they are perhaps the standout full-backs in the Premier League. Livramento, however, is arguably the more in-demand but Hall surely isn’t too far behind.
Speaking about his teammate, Livramento admitted Hall’s “weird” movements can really throw the opposition off course.

Tino Livramento thinks Lewis Hall’s movement can confuse opponents
The two were conducting an interview with Sky Sports.
Both Hall and Livramento came through the Chelsea academy, so the pair have known each other for years despite their relatively young ages (23 and 21).
During the discussion, which was posted on YouTube, they were asked to compliment each other’s game.
Hall admitted that he doesn’t have Livramento’s pace, while Livramento talked up Hall’s ability to ghost into space.
“He’s smart with the way that he plays,” said Livramento.
“Like, he’ll invert but then he’s also like, going forward, he’ll make some weird runs that people don’t want to track and then he’ll end up in their box.”
What do you make of Tino Livramento’s comments when asked about his Newcastle United future?
Lewis Hall’s “weird” runs have been causing problems all season
At times during the recent win over Everton, Hall and Livramento were Newcastle’s most advanced players.
In fact, fine interplay between the two almost teed Hall up for a brilliant goal, although his effort smacked the crossbar at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The duo also caused Manchester City problems last month, helping Newcastle return to winning ways upon their returns from injury.
Hall and Livramento are two of Newcastle’s most important players, making the decision to sign them all the way back in 2023 look like an inspired piece of business.
The longer they stay fit, the more chance Newcastle have of having a successful campaign.
