Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller has told of his admiration for England – but auggests that the Newcastle dialect confuses him.
The Germany international has done an interview with The Times, and spoke on a number of topics ahead what will likely be a 10th straight league title for him at the end of the season.

The 31-year-old is having a stellar season so far, having scored 10 goals and made 14 assists in the Bundesliga.
Muller has been with Bayern his whole career, but has not ruled out a change of scenery this summer.
He said: “From a Bavarian village, and having spent his whole career at Bayern, it is hard to imagine Muller playing for anyone else.

“But I’m not fixed to this club. I have a special relationship, I love Bayern before I started playing for them, but when there is a situation where you have to decide maybe to play for a different club it would be no shame and no problem at all. Maybe like with Thiago [Alcântara, now at Liverpool].”
Muller then states how he likes England, but is left struggling when it comes to certain places.
He adds: “I like it. But some cultures… speaking and such, special dialect, I don’t understand everything ah. Newcastle? Ah, I don’t know…”
A random comment from an excellent character
It’s a very random comment from Muller, who is seemingly a very random and colourful character.
Maybe the only way for him to get his head around it is to seal a transfer to St. James’ Park at the end of the season.
After all, what’s not to like about playing for the Magpies just now…
