Eddie Howe is doing an incredible job as Newcastle United manager, transforming the club on and off the pitch.
His tactical genius has taken Newcastle United to unimaginable heights, which is astounding considering there wasn’t too much buzz when he was named as Steve Bruce’s successor.
But Eddie Howe quickly won fans over with his attention to detail, and it has taken the Magpies to a cup final and the Champions League.
He has been helped by some wonderful recruitment, but he has also worked wonders with the players he inherited. Fabian Schar is playing the best football of his career, while Sean Longstaff is a pivotal part of the Newcastle midfield.
There are plenty more success stories when it comes to Eddie Howe’s coaching, which is why Toon fans absolutely love him. He has made supporters dream, creating an us vs them mentality that is so easy to get behind.
He is the type of person you want managing your football club, and it sounds like he is having the same kind of impact behind the scenes at Newcastle United.
That is according to Alan Pardew, who has spoke to some members of staff at Newcastle who were also at the club when he was manager.
Newcastle staff really like Eddie Howe behind the scenes
Pardew has shared some private details about how Eddie Howe is viewed by staff behind the scenes at Newcastle whilst speaking to TalkSPORT.
“He’s inherited about four or five of my staff members that I have as friends now from Newcastle,” he said.
“And they all tell me what a lovely guy he is. He’s always accommodating to the staff. Not in a kind of gesture ‘I’m the manager but I’m going to be nice to you’ way. A genuine way. I think that’s always appreciated and known by staff members.”

Newcastle have the perfect manager
Obviously we only see what happens on the pitch, but it is great to hear how respected Howe is behind the scenes.
That respect goes both ways, with Pardew confirming that he has been told just how lovely Howe is to the staff at Newcastle United.
That is exactly what you want from a manager. You won’t hear anyone say a bad word about Howe at Newcastle, which is a testament to the atmosphere he has created since his arrival.
The Newcastle owners struck gold when they appointed him.
