Bruno Guimaraes showed that last night with an outstanding display for Brazil as they swept aside Bolivia 5-1. The 25-year-old managed to bag an assist before being replaced on 71 minutes by his Newcastle teammate Joelinton.
It wasn’t just the fact that he registered another international assist, but everything he tried seemed to work for him with 100% completion rates in passes and long balls as well as creating three chances.

Now the task is to bring this form home with him and apply it for Newcastle.
Bruno has elevated Newcastle since his arrival and while there has been cause for concern regarding his form, it’s only because he’s set such a high bar.
Even an off-form Bruno Guimaraes is better than many of those who came before him at Newcastle.
