Newcastle United defender Dan Burn has lauded the Toon fanbase after an incredible number travelled to support the side against Arsenal last night.
Speaking with NUFC TV after the game, the 30-year-old spoke of the travelling supporters, who had made their way down to north London to cheer on the Magpies, who came away with a strong point against the league leaders.

“I think we are probably the best travelling team in the country to be honest,” he said.
“Wherever it is, Southampton on a Tuesday or anything – they sung all night and we did that for them.”
Burn loves playing for Newcastle
Since arriving at St James’ Park in January, Burn has become a fan-favourite on Tyneside.
Thus far this season, the versatile defender has made 18 Premier League appearances for the Toon.
Having initially been brought in as a centre-back, the 30-year-old has been tasked to cover at left-back this term – something he is excelling at.
The former Brighton man clearly plays his heart out for the Newcastle badge, having grown up as a season-ticket holder.

With this sort of player on the pitch, it is easy for the Magpies fans to get behind the squad.
This has the same effect the other way round, as this support motivates the team to continue fighting until the very end.
As things stand, everything is going as the club would have hoped for at St James’ Park.
