Newcastle United are reportedly interested in Young Boys striker Jean-Pierre Nsame.
According to TEAMtalk, the Magpies are taking an interest in the Cameroon forward, who has been thriving this season.

The star has scored 25 goals in 37 games this season so far and has scored a hat-trick on two occasions.
His haul of 18 goals in the league puts him atop the scoring charts, and it is little wonder speculation is beginning to pick up about 27-year-old’s future.
Newcastle aren’t the only ones keen, with Southampton, West Ham United and Celtic all supposedly circling.
The Magpies have again struggled to score goals this season, and could really do with some additional firepower this summer.

Andy Carroll is set to leave on expiry of his contract, and big question marks remain about Dwight Gayle and Joelinton’s suitability.
This isn’t just a one-off season for Nsame – the star actually holds the record for most goals in a single season in the Swiss league, scoring 32 last term (via Goal).
A gamble worth taking?
Newcastle are also being linked with a move for Tammy Abraham at the moment (TEAMtalk).
But should the club feel like he’d be too expensive – both in terms of a transfer fee and wages – then Nsame might be worth considering.

Of course the Swiss top-flight doesn’t compare to the standard of the Premier League.
But his goal record of 78 in 119 in the competition, and 97 in 168 in total for Young Boys, is undoubtedly impressive.
