Newcastle United managerial candidate Paulo Fonseca has apparently left Amanda Staveley impressed.
According to a report from The Telegraph, the club have interviewed the 48-year-old and he made a good impression.

The new owners are currently searching for a replacement after Steve Bruce departed yesterday.
They are taking their time to ensure the right appointment.
Graeme Jones is taking the team this weekend against Crystal Palace.
Newcastle may or may not need him to manage any more games after Saturday.
Apparently, Fonseca impressed minority owner Staveley. Chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan would need to rubberstamp a final decision.
Newcastle would supposedly be willing to offer Fonseca £6 million-a-season.
Fonseca seemingly in pole position
Newcastle will likely be talking to several potential candidates in the coming days.
But a lot has been written about Fonseca so far.
He seems to be the man currently in pole position.

The fact his philosophy is to play attacking football will surely be a massive appeal, given how dull the team have been to watch under Bruce.
Appointing someone who is the total opposite to the former manager will be the demand from most Newcastle fans.
It is also a big plus that Fonseca has previously won a league title with Shakhtar Donetsk.
