A Newcastle United player has reportedly been a regular visitor to his former club, because of the Magpies’ awful training ground standards.
The Daily Mail have run a report today, following the news of Steve Bruce’s departure at St. James’ Park.

Many supporters have finally gotten their wish, and the new owners say a new manager will be confirmed soon.
For now, Graeme Jones will take charge of the team.
While most of Mike Ashley’s tenure has been joyless, the last 27 months for Newcastle fans have been particularly difficult.
And it seems the players have also not had a great time since Bruce has been at the helm.

The Mail say that one player, who hasn’t been named, felt that ‘professional’ standards around the club were not as they should be.
This individual supposedly returned to his old club on a regular basis ‘for fitness and nutritional programmes’.
Shocking if true
It is shocking to think a player would go to his old club for vital things relating to fitness and nutrition.
It really does emphasise how much the club has been neglected under Ashley.

It is also a bad reflection on Bruce, whose training programmes must have been really sub-standard.
Thankfully, a new era is now finally commencing at Newcastle, and standards all around the club will hopefully be soaring in the years to come.
