Fans have been reacting to the performance of Denzel Dumfries – a player who’s been linked with Newcastle United – at Euro 2020 last night.
It was a busy night for the PSV Eindhoven star, who was up and down the right flank operating as a wing-back.

Dumfries proved a real handful for the Ukraine defence, and kept cropping up in the penalty area.
The 25-year-old’s instinct to attack was rewarded late on, when he cropped up to score the winner for his country.
Manchester City star Nathan Ake crossed to the back post, and Dumfries attacked the ball and glanced his header into the far corner.

He had plenty to do, and it was a really well taken goal.
Perhaps Newcastle will be watching how Dumfries gets on over the next few weeks.
The Chronicle reported the Magpies had interest in the player back in November.
That report claimed the club had been monitoring Dumfries for months.
