Nottingham Forest are already looking to get rid of Jonjo Shelvey just six months after left Newcastle United.
Former Newcastle midfielder Jonjo Shelvey is said to be on the move again as The Times report that Nottingham Forest are ready to part ways with the 31-year-old after just six months at the club.
Shelvey hasn’t featured in a matchday squad for Forest since April after a falling out with boss Steve Cooper. Shelvey was sent home from training after reacting badly to being told he wouldn’t face Liverpool, and since then he’s not even made it as far as the Forest bench.
Shelvey will leave Nottingham Forest to find first-team football
In order to find first-team football Shelvey is looking to leave the City Ground and it’s believed that the club will not stand in his way.
The former Liverpool and Swansea player spent six years at Newcastle making over 200 appearances for the club. On his day there were few players better at passing the ball over distance than Jonjo, but he was also often prone to going missing in games.

He was such a frustrating player because everyone knew how good he was, he was even hailed as ‘outstanding‘ by former boss Steve Bruce, but at times he just looked disinterested.
Will Shelvey find another Premier League side?
It seems that age hasn’t humbled him. It’s such a shame as he could have been fantastic for Forest, but now he’s set to leave with just eight appearances to his name.
Now the question is whether another Premier League side would be willing to take a chance on him next season or if he’s going to have to move down the leagues or look abroad.
Perhaps a promoted side might look to take a punt on him. He likely won’t cost much to take him away from his Forest nightmare, but he is on £70,000-a-week which may put off the likes of Luton Town.
