Newcastle goalkeeper Freddie Woodman has admitted to BBC Sport that he’d like to return to Swansea City next season.
The 24-year-old is currently on loan at the Welsh club for the second year in a row, and has had a wonderful season in the Championship.
Woodman ended the campaign with 20 clean sheets in the league, winning the Golden Glove.

His season isn’t over though. Swansea beat Barnsley in the playoff semi-final, setting up a Wembley clash against Brentford.
If Woodman can get another clean sheet on Saturday, then his loan club Swansea will have a very good chance of playing Premier League football next season.
But what does the future hold for Woodman?
Woodman eyes Swansea return
“I think everyone knows I’d love to come back [to Swansea],” Woodman told BBC Sport.
“It’s a fantastic football club.
“I feel like from two years I’ve developed so much – become a better person, become a better footballer and that’s credit to the club.”
If Swansea do win promotion, a third loan move to the Liberty Stadium would be perfect.
He’s had two years in the Championship and impressed. But he needs to experience top flight football.

Sadly, he’s unlikely to get that at Newcastle next season.
Steve Bruce has great goalkeeping options at his disposal, with Martin Dubravka and Karl Darlow fighting to be first choice.
Woodman should be a future Newcastle number one. But he’ll likely want another loan move next season if the alternative is fighting just to get on the bench.
Whether Swansea win promotion or not, Woodman needs to be playing Premier League football next season.
