Bruno Guimarares and Newcastle United will play at St James’ Park tonight for the final time this season.
The Magpies take on Arsenal, who are desperate for three points as they look to secure a top four finish and return to the Champions League.
Eddie Howe’s side will be keen to put on a show of their own and end the season in impressive fashion. We’ve been strong at home too, only losing twice at St James’ Park since Howe was appointed. And those were against Manchester City and Liverpool.
Newcastle have an almost fully fit squad, with Callum Wilson and Kieran Trippier making their returns last week at the Etihad.

They will hopefully feature, and so will Newcastle’s blonde bombshell Bruno. And he’ll have a point to prove against Mikel Arteta’s side.
Bruno snubbed Arsenal before Newcastle move
When Bruno was first linked with Newcastle, he seemed more likely to join Arsenal. They were more heavily linked, and seemed a better fit than the Magpies. At the time we were battling relegation, while the Gunners were in the race for the top four.
But January 30th arrived and Bruno landed in the Premier League, joining Newcastle for a fee that could rise to £43million.

Following his arrival, the Brazilian alluded to Arsenal’s interest prior to him becoming a Magpie. He then admitted that talks had taken place.
I did speak to some other clubs,” he told Sky Sports when asked about Arsenal’s interest.
“But the only concrete offer came in from Newcastle and I really wanted to come here. I’ve always wanted to play in the Premier League and on top of that it was the start of a new sporting project for the club.”
Bruno can show Arsenal what they missed tonight
The 24-year-old has had a sensational start to life at Newcastle, quickly establishing himself as the club’s top player. It’s only been half a season and he’s already provided some magical moments. There’ll surely be more next season and beyond.

But tonight is a chance for Bruno to show Arsenal what they could have won. They decided against making a move in January, and missed out massively. This is a player who is already a star in the Premier League – someone who is arguably too good for Newcastle in its current form.
He dominates games, creates chances, scores goals, wins tackles – he’s a joy to watch. And Arsenal will witness it firsthand tonight.
And if he plays well, it might end up costing the Gunners a place in next season’s Champions League.
Bruno and his magic hat could’ve joined Arsenal, but instead he’s thriving in the famous black and white. And long may it continue.
