Roberto Martinez could be on his way back to the Premier League this summer, two years after being linked with Newcastle.
Tottenham are still looking for a new manager after sacking Jose Mourinho in April. However, they may have found his replacement.
According to Sky Sports, Martinez is in talks with Spurs.
The Spaniard is currently Belgium manager, and will be hoping to guide the Red Devils to glory this summer at the Euros.

However, Sky Sports claim that Martinez is wanting to return to club management after the tournament.
The 47-year-old hasn’t managed in the Premier League since 2016, when he was sacked as Everton boss.
He is best known for his heroics with Wigan, where he won the FA Cup in 2013.
But how different could his career have been if he had joined Newcastle in 2019?

Martinez could’ve been a Magpie
In the summer of 2019, Newcastle were looking for a replacement for Rafa Benitez.
The fan favourite left the club when his contract expired, unhappy with the owner’s lack of ambition.
A plethora of names were linked with the job, including Roberto Martinez.
The Sun claimed in July 2019 that the club had contacted Martinez about becoming manager.
While many fans were still distraught over Rafa’s departure, the Martinez rumours created some excitement. However, others were less keen.

But in the end, Martinez remained with Belgium. Two weeks later, Newcastle appointed Steve Bruce.
We’ve seen no progress under Bruce after two years. While Benitez brought hope, Bruce has brought anger. The relationship between Bruce and the fans seems fractured beyond repair.
But would Martinez have done a better job?
We might see first hand next season if he joins Tottenham.
