Newcastle United round off their pre-season tour of Japan this weekend, facing off against Yokohama F. Marinos.

As the Premier League season fast approaches, Eddie Howe and his Newcastle side are starting to ramp up pre-season preparations as they look to build upon their seventh-place finish last time out.

Unbeaten so far during pre-season, the Magpies most recently dispatched Urawa Red Diamonds 4-1, with Jacob Murphy grabbing a brace alongside goals from Alexander Isak and Lewis Hall.

Newcastle’s attention however now turns to five-time J-League champions Yokohama F. Marinos, who will provide the Geordies with yet another stern test.
