Newcastle United set for Amazon documentary – Sky Sports journalist

After following Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal behind the scenes, Newcastle United are reportedly the next club who are set to feature in a documentary by Amazon.

That is according to Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie, who has stated that cameras have been filming at the club ahead of a four-part series that is going to be released.

Downie states that the series will profile the Magpies under the new owners, as they look to qualify for the Champions League and end the club’s trophy drought.

It is already shaping up to be an incredible watch, as the season Newcastle are having is a remarkable story.

To see us challenging for a place in the Champions League is amazing – somehow we’ve only lost once all season in the Premier League.

Not only that but Eddie Howe is also planning to take his team to Wembley. Newcastle face Manchester United in the League Cup final on February 26th, with fans currently scrambling to secure their ticket.

All of this will be seen up close in Amazon’s upcoming series, which is set to be a must-watch for Newcastle United fans.

Hopefully it’s ‘all’ and not ‘nothing’ in Newcastle’s Amazon documentary

Whether it is just an Amazon special or specifically called ‘All Or Nothing’ like the other series about Premier League clubs remains to be seen.

Hopefully there is something to celebrate this season, otherwise Toon fans could be the subject of ridicule when the series hits our screens. We all remember Arsenal’s top four collapse on the last All Or Nothing series, and who could forget Sunderland fans crying on Netflix.

Now Newcastle are getting their own documentary, and it will be one for the ages if it ends with the Magpies winning a trophy or qualifying for the Champions League – or both if we are being greedy.

Regardless, it should be a great watch. It will be a chance to see what has changed behind the scenes since Mike Ashley left, and an opportunity to get a closer dive into how Newcastle manager Eddie Howe operates on a day-to-day basis.
