Newcastle United have now decided what they are going to do with young star Yankuba Minteh next season following his loan at Feyenoord.
The winger has really impressed in the last few months in the Dutch side, but it has been unclear as to whether he will be sent out again or included in Newcastle’s squad for the new campaign.
A new report from HITC is now claiming that because of his very recent impressive form Newcastle have changed their minds and are going to keep Minteh in and around the first team next season.
Minteh will have a part to play for Newcastle
Unlike some of their other failed loan moves, Newcastle look to have gotten Minteh’s spell at Feyenoord spot on as the 19-year-old looks to have taken huge steps in his game under the leadership of Arne Slot.
While still a very raw talent who will need to adjust to Premier League football, Minteh has been very impressive in his attacking output pressing high up the pitch and helping to win the ball back in key areas, something Eddie Howe will love.
The young man has now taken his tally up to seven goals for the season after his effort against PSV at the weekend in a 2-2 draw, while he has also contributed a further three assists in the Eredivisie.
Newcastle have been very happy with the progress that Minteh has made over the last few months and are keen to take a closer look at him in the first team next season as they look to give him a role to play.

Minteh has the talent to be a future star
What Minteh has been showcasing while over in the Netherlands is a real excitement and enthusiasm to play football and to improve his game, even if he’s been criticised for his lack of end product in the final third.
Howe is manager who loves working with players who have lots of potential but are yet to realise it as we saw with the likes of Anthony Gordon and Joelinton.
The 46-year-old will be hoping he can do something similar with Minteh, though he won’t be expecting miracles straight away just some hoping he can learn from his experienced teammates for the new campaign.
Should Newcastle qualify for Europe next season it could be ideal to have Minteh in and around the team for added depth and to give him more of a taste of European football after his experiences in the Champions League this year.
With his energy and drive Minteh looks like a huge talent and certainly one to watch out for should Newcastle give him key minutes in the future.
