Former Newcastle United ace Rolando Aarons has signed for his fourth club since leaving permanently in 2021.
In 2014, Alan Pardew believed he had a great talent on his hands when the 18-year-old winger made his debut in a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City.
Rolando Aarons made an impact just a couple of weeks later, scoring and bagging an assist in a Premier League game against Crystal Palace. However, things quickly changed for the young star, whose career has been marred by injury.
Aarons had multiple opportunities to impress for Newcastle, but he was unable to make the impact many believed he could have due to his injury troubles. Loan moves to Italy, the Czech Republic and EFL followed before he left permanently for Huddersfield Town in 2021.
The Jamaican international has now found himself a new club after months without one, joining a recently revived National League side.

Former Newcastle United star Rolando Aarons joins Morecambe
Since leaving Newcastle, Aarons has had spells at Motherwell and NK Celje in Slovenia, where he won a league title.
Now 29, Aarons has returned to England, joining National League side Morecambe, who came agonisingly close to extinction just a couple of months ago.
The Shrimps are hoping to secure survival in the National League after welcoming new owners, but they face an uphill battle at this point in time. Aarons joins two former Newcastle academy players at Morecambe, with Mo Sangare and Ludwig Francillete moving to the Lancashire coast.
Speaking about the signing on Morecambe’s official website, Shrimps boss Ashvir Singh Johal said: “I’m delighted that Rolando has chosen to join us.
“He’s a winger who we identified early on, and we’re pleased we managed to get it done as there was a lot of competition for his signature.
“He sees it as an environment that will bring the best out of him; he’s very experienced, playing in the Premiership, Championship and Serie A and is someone who will add massive value to this side.”

Rolando Aarons was once linked with moves to Man City and Liverpool
Had Aarons not struggled with his injuries, who knows what he could have done in his career? There was a lot of hype around him at Newcastle, especially after his goal against Man City in the Carabao Cup in 2014.
However, he is yet another player who was plagued by his injury issues, forcing him to seek a career elsewhere. Perhaps Morecambe is the right place for Aarons to revitalise his career and get back up and running.
For Aarons, his career could have taken a drastic step forward, as in a 2015 report from the Daily Star, both Man City and Liverpool were keeping a close eye on Aarons’ development.
The report suggested that then-City boss Manuel Pellegrini was impressed with Aarons while scouting the Magpies ahead of a Premier League game, seeing him set a goal up in a pre-season friendly.
The winger was likened to trophy-laden star Raheem Sterling, who was also bursting onto the scene at the time. However, neither move came to fruition, and Aarons was left to develop on Tyneside.
